Today is Thursday!
You know what this means? Thursday loves include -
? Fish nor Fowl – for those who are neither this nor that…
? Mischief, My Dear! – making beautiful treasures for Etsy shoppers since 2009
? Rollerskates! I can’t wait until it’s warmer and I can skate around Greenlake. My skates are vintage camel suede with sparkly green laces. They belonged to my Daddy!
? Dinosaur-themed accessories – dinos are très chic!
I love that ring!! Or maybe this:
I can’t decide, but I know I want!! Those lovelies are One Of A Kind. Damn! Where’s my wallet!? Tokoymade, why must you taunt me so??
(Actually, what I really want is to work at Freya’s desert drive-in as a roller-queen while wearing secret decoder dino goodies made by Ashe Mischief.)
Dino’s are sadly underrepresented for their cool-ness factor. But how could you say no to something as cool looking as this gem from neawear??
Or as DaisyChains points out

“Who doesn’t love a dinosaur?”
And destroyedbydesign does dinos in acrylic:

Or if you’re not into dinosaurs and think unicorns are cooler or something crazy like that, you could pick up one of these:

Okay, I admit, I love the unicorn too.
? I really love Kevin Murphy Angel Wash/Angel Rinse. Smells like dreamsicles, and love!! The cuties at Vain also love Kevin Murphy (half of Kusco-Murphy hair goodies – they make Alley Paste which is to die for) and here’s what they have to say“
“Kevin Murphy was one half of the popular Kusco-Murphy haircare line so he knows his stuff. His products are sulphate-free, paraben-free, biodegradable, and contain essential oils and moisturizers from sustainable sources. Who doesn’t like a little mango, shea butter, or orange blossom infused into their hair product? Plus every product is color-safe (YES!) and smells fancy and amazing (seriously. I’ve got my nose up a bottle of Angel.Wash shampoo right now).”
? A newly discovered love:
From the Paraphernalia site:
“We at Paraphernalia design beauteous and wholesome adornments for both Ladies and Gentlemen.
We are much inspired by both vintage illustrations and 19th century magicians. We also enjoy the odd, the unusual, the uncanny and the bizarre, in all the aspects of beauty.Everything is handmade by Ms. Vanda in her studio in Manchester, United Kingdom, using vintage illustrations, printed and cut acrylic, and silver-plated chains. We strive to provide extraordinary, beautifully original pieces at affordable prices, so that you may embellish yourself with merely a pittance.”
I’m swooning over that heart right now. *swoon swoon!*
? Other things I love -
Going to Mister’s orchestra concerts (he’s a violinist, didn’t you know?!). Saturday night, Lake Union Civic Orchestra will be playing a piece by Mahler and Wagner’s Flight of the Valkyries at Meany Hall (7:30p) on the UW campus.
Paying off my car (before it’s due!). My little ride is mine! YAAAAY! I feel like a grownup, now owning the first car I’ve ever bought myself. I also feel very responsible for paying it off way ahead of it’s maturity date. Yay for making good decisions in personal finance!
What do you love!? It’s Thursday! Only one more day till weekend!

Paraphernalia stuff is gorgeous, I intend to buy something soon but right now I can’t choose!
I’ve been thinking about getting some rollerskates too, my sense of balance is dire, so I’d probably break my neck on blades, but rollerskates are so awesomely retro and look like so much fun!
@Vixel – Rollerskate pendant!
You can definitely still rock the rollerskate! xoxo
