A Call to Arms
Often, I feel like I don’t understand people; their lives and thought patterns are just totally strange. More specifically, it seems like lately people do one thing, but secretly lament about their actions and decisions. I don’t understand how people make a choice and then sulk about it, or how they make choices and then apologize profusely for something they must have thought was COMPLETELY right at one point. Talk about having little faith in yourself! Sometimes people lack courage in their convictions.

I wrote a long tirade, once, about being overly apologetic regarding choices and decisions that affect others. If you regret or find yourself apologizing over and over for a decision you made (beyond reason – a simple sorry + explanation), are you sure you made that decision in good conscience? Are you REALLY sure you’ve done the right thing? It’s a question worth asking.
When you make a choice, stand behind it because you believe in yourself, and in your power to do what’s right. When you believe in your choices, there’s no need to regret them, or apologize for them because the people who matter will see that you’ve stood your ground with good reason.

Talk about a lot packed in a little blog post!
This is actually a pretty en pointe topic for me. I am in the middle of the decision making process right now, and I know what decision I WANT to make…but I also don’t want to deal with the conflict I know that decision will cost.

oh wow, i love this… it’s so strange how many people don’t see they made the best choices with what they knew at the time… i don’t think there’s ever been a point in my life, where i was like, i could have done better, but i didn’t…. on purpose…
