Jet lag recovery!

Hi guys!

How have you all been?  Busy?  Fantastic?  Taking the world by storm??

I definitely think we took London by storm last week, and I’m spending this week recovering.  It’s amazing what jet lag will do to a girl.  I fell asleep last night at 8p only to wake up at 2:30a, alert, talkative and ready to start my day.  You know 2:30 here is 10:30 there, so it seemed natural for me to be awake.

This internal clock snafu had me thinking – how can I combat the effects of jet lag?  On leaving London, I hit the sack a little early, so I could get in a few extra hours of sleep.  On the plane I tried to adhere to a sleep and food schedule that mimicked the time-zone I’d end up in.  When I got home, I went to sleep when I could (2 am!!) and slept until I woke up again (8 am!!) at a decent time.  So when I woke up at 2:30a this morning, I had a big glass of water and tried to sleep until I woke up again at 5:30a – then decided I would get up and be productive.

I decided that, except for a few things here and there I need to do, I am going to stay on vacation till next Monday.  This means Bonne Vie will be quiet as I try to catch up on editing photos, unpack my luggage and get back into a normal sleep cycle.

My next post, I promise, will be full of photos, stories and goodness!

Ciao, loves!
