The Scoop

So there’s been some project rearrangement – I regret to inform my readers that I’m no longer a part of The Demoiselles (as you may have read via their clever “Bye Bye Birdie” post – unfortunately it seems they’ve closed the comments for those of you who wanted to post a “We’ll miss you – bonne chance!” love note).  Don’t worry, dear readers!  I’ll have extra time to devote to amazing posts for you here at Bonne Vie.

Because I feel like my work is relevant to BOTH The Demoiselles and Bonne Vie, I’ve chosen to showcase some of my Demoiselles work as a sort of written portfolio – you can read a few of my posts and other handiwork here!  The majority of original content can still be found at TD.

I wish The Demoiselles bonne chance and I hope their business decisions will be fruitful in their future endeavours.

In the meantime sit tight as I cook up some more magic for your pretty lil’ eyes!

It’s funny; I’d say my style has evolved most in the last year or so in my casual clothes. When I first got frustrated with how I dressed, I decided that since I felt best wearing skirts I was going to wear skirts all the time. It was partly an insecurity thing, and as I’ve become much more comfortable with my body lately I’ve started to feel much better about just jeans and a t-shirt. Also: flats that are not boots or sneakers or sandals. I have big boat feet, but a certain pair of red patent loafers have started to win me over.
