Outfit: Burlesque Birthday Bash
Last week (OKAY! My outfit photo was from last week, I WILL ADMIT!) I had a Birthday Bash with Sinner Saint Burlesque. “It’s not your birthday!” you say… but it is difficult to collect all my friends into one place at the same time – moreso on New Year’s Eve (my real birthday).

I got dressed up in this EXQUISITE jumpsuit (it’s a loaner – it’s Kimberlee’s. If you know where to get one exactly like this, please email me and hook it up. I will reward you handsomely) by Arpeja. I’ve been jumpsuit obsessed (more on this later) ever since I put it on.

It’s perfect with the thick waistband, blouson/bateau neck top, and wide palazzo style legs. It’s also about 4″ too long for me, so it looked PERFECT with my Fluevog LA Silverlake boots.

I commented to another reveler that night that dressing this outfit up was sort of difficult. Necklaces are hidden in the folds of the blouson and hair pieces need to be demure. I wore :
- Jumpsuit: Arpeja
- Sparrow Skull from Talonalia
- a silver feathery headband
- rhinestone bracelet
- vintage silver braided cuff
- Fluevog LA Silverlake boots.
I also wore this outfit, because Eyeliah at Style Symmetry was hosting her virtual birthday party, and I needed some cute party attire – SUB-MITTED!

Thanks Youa!!
You look so great! Like everything: the jumpsuit, the headband, the makeup…
I love it. This jumpsuit is really striking on you. I tend to think jumpsuits look weird and frumpy on anyone except maybe Gwyneth Paltrow, but you look great in this one.

Thanks @chiara!
@Mary I totally worried it would look frumpy because of the blouson style top, but I really love the look!
Beautiful. Just beautiful!
p.s. Love love LOVE the headband!
@Jen Joyce Thanks! I do think I need more fluffy feathery headbands…..
I know people are supposed to be all “jumpsuits are evil” but love them. LOVE. THEM.
And you are so rocking the bejeesus out of this one! It is elegant and funky at the same time, I simply love the lines on you.
Great outfit, how do you like the Silverlakes? I’m thinking of taking the plunge, but 6 inches, yikes!
Belinda – LOVE THEM. A little hard to wear everywhere… and it’s more like 4-4.5 inches with the platform. Grab some foot petals!
