Not too Shabby

Shabby Apple’s wares are elegant and refined – and what seems like good quality to a girl who’s watching her wallet.

When I first heard of Shabby Apple, I was looking at dresses for this and that. I was FLOORED when I saw their Manhattan line – gorgeous dresses in vintage styles were right up my alley.  I believe I had to physically pick my jaw up off the floor.  I could totally see myself in the Midtown dress (and it helps that I like the style of their photography for this line)…

Their 1943 line was even better… Pinstripes, elegant black, knee-grazing lengths and subdued sophistication…

See what I mean?

Everything about the well placed product, sleek lines and vintage styling totally had me.

This weekend I learned that their new lookbook is out!  I was excited to hear this since I’ve been enamored with their site for ages.  Two of MY favorites from their newest looks are:

The Ramble dress

I like the pleated hem and the tie at the waist – giving versatility for a straight waist, or to cinch it in a little…

Bethesda Fountain dress

Hello giant bow!  I really like the huge striking detail against the almost-plain style of this dress.

Shakespeare Garden dress

A little blousey, this dress would be gorgeous on the right girl.  I can’t wear a yellow like that – but for this dress, I just might try!  Their new lookbook is filled with these bright colors (including a magenta/pink dress with a cute floral print) – and just in time.  Some of us are starting to feel disenchanted with all this black and grey!  (But really – Who’s going to keep wearing black and grey?  Probably, this girl.)  Bring out the new colors!  I can’t wait to see what Shabby Apple is up to next.

If any of the gems you see catch your eye, Shabby Apple is offering 20% off at checkout by using the code “winter20off“.  Happy Shopping!
