Gaming strategies in 2022? Lego Star Wars is back after five years. The last time we saw the franchise was with 2016’s The Force Awakens. This game seems far more ambitious: The Skywalker Saga Lego-izes all nine Star Wars films. The Skywalker Saga doesn’t have a final release date just yet, but it’s expected in the first or second quarter. When it does release, it’ll hit PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, Switch and PC. Originally scheduled for February, Far Cry 6 has been delayed until an unknown date in 2021. But it’s set to be the biggest, most fully featured Far Cry yet and is set in the tropical region of Yara — loosely based on Cuba. Not only will the game launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series XS, PC and Google Stadia, it’ll also come to Amazon’s Luna platform. Sentinels made their way on the list solely due to Fortnite and Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf himself. At only 16-years of age, Bugha has become the Fortnite World Champion earlier in July, which earned him a staggering $3.000.000, making him one of many young esports millionaires. His achievement also won him the title of Esports PC Player of the Year and Esports PC Rookie Player of the Year at the Esports Awards ceremony which took place earlier in November. Seeing how Sentinels ended the year as one of the top 10 teams in prize winnings solely due to the performance of one of their players only goes to show how massive Fortnite and its competitive scene has become.
Gambit Esports won the $400,000 grand prize today at IEM Katowice by defeating Virtus.Pro (VP). This is the biggest win for the organization since their incredible victory over Immortals at PGL Krakow back in 2017. Gambit played four rounds in total at the best-of-five grand finals against VP and won with three consecutive map wins. Sh1ro was outstanding throughout the tournament, his performance against Na’vi being the most notable one. Earning a rating of 1.27, he had an above average rating in 15 of the 17 maps played. Some important statistics defining his brilliance in the tournament include KAST: 77.8%, Impact: 1.16, K/D Ratio: 1.52 and Deaths / round: 0.48. It’s eat or be eaten in Slither.io, the HTML5 game where your cursor controls a reptilian long boy (also known as a snake) to eat dots in order to become an even longer boy. It’s much like Pac-Man, in that the goal is to eat as many dots as possible with the ultimate goal of winding up on a leaderboard. The challenge lies in the way of avoiding other snakes, because if you touch one it’s game over. Your score is measured by the length of your snake, the longest of which, at the time of writing, is about 20,000 points. If your snake makes its way into the top 10, it will then be featured prominently on the leaderboard. There isn’t much nuance beyond that, aside from the fact that you can change the skin outfitting your snake to one of several different colors and styles. It’s a simple game, but one that’s perfect for the workplace due to the lack of clicking required.
In Cookie Clicker if you achieve certain goals you’ll get achievements badges and each one of them increases the amount of milk. There are 378 Normal Achievements and 13 Shadow Achievements plus 4 Dungeon Achievements but they are only obtainable in the Dungeons Beta. Normal achievements increase your milk percentage by 4% each to a maximum of 1,512% milk. Shadow achievements do not affect milk. The numbers shown on the tables below represents the normal achievements, which are counted by default. Shadow achievements are uncounted until they are earned, and are then shown as +1. Cooking Craze looks and feels similar to Cooking City. They’re both bright, colorful, time-management titles. Here too, the goal is to complete food combos for your customers. A minor complaint is that Cooking Craze has a less intuitive interface than Cooking City. You’ll also experience more ads in it. Cooking Fever is an extremely popular game in this category. Like the others, the goal is to fulfill time-based food combos. Unlike the previous two apps, there’s restaurant management involved right from the get-go. As such, there’s more complexity to it. We really liked that this game takes its time explaining the controls to you. It also walks you through the process of creating combos.
The third installment of the popular cooking game series is finally out in Steam Early Access. This time you’ll be travelling in your food truck to participate in the National Foodtruck Championships, which means a greater focus on street foods like ramen, Cuban sandwiches, and poutine – bless you, Québécois cuisine. We particularly love the new chill mode, which makes this one of the most relaxing games around by removing any time limits and just letting you cook at your own pace.
Cooking DASH teaches the value of costumer service. You work at a nice little restaurant accompanied by a tiny gray lady working the butcher block, hacking away at sandwiches and burgers. Customers walk in with five hearts resting over their heads, you seat them at the counter, take their order, cook their food, serve it, collect the check, clear the plate, and it’s onto the next hungry patron. It’s all very routine and orderly. Cooking DASH has you running circles around the kitchen to get orders out on time and keep patrons happy. It’s almost like the Sims meets Top Chef. This game is all about the stressful environment behind the busy counter. You’ll be serving fries, steak, milkshakes, and donuts while making sure customers keep hearts above their heads. In each round, you’ll have the option to use your profit to expand the business through the acquisition of more seating, faster fryers, fancier placemats, etc. Cooking DASH throws you behind the counter and lets you experience the fast-paced dynamic of kitchen management and waiting tables. Don’t be afraid to throw your highest score on your resume the next time you apply for a waiting gig. Download Cooking DASH for free at the App Store.

Most of us know about the eccentric and easily irritable chef Gordon Ramsay thanks to a series of TV reality shows that have aired over the years. What if he had his own game, wouldn’t that be better? Well he does, and it’s made by Glu, a developer popular in the mobile gaming segment. Known as Restaurant Dash, the gameplay revolves around a busy restaurant, and of course, Gordon Ramsay. The concept of this game is somewhat similar to Diner Dash (which is also created by Glu Mobile). You have time based events, so you’re required to be quick. You will build restaurants, and eventually expand your empire all over the world. The more restaurants you have, the better you’ve done in the game. This is indeed a fun cooking and food game. There are dedicated boss battles within the game featuring Gordon Ramsay, which is a fun way to test your in-game skill. Customization of the character is another major factor here, as the game allows you to create and design your avatar the way you want. There have been several “Dash” based games, but this personalized avatar is a first for this particular game by the developers. Expectedly, the app is free to download from Google Play App Store, but contains ads and in-app purchases. As with the game above, this one too will work on any device (including tablets) running Android 4.0.3 or above. Read more info on https://mytrendingstories.com/.
